I will slowly add to these groups as there are so many and I want to make sure I have all the data correct.
However I do have to let people know that these organisations are in Australia.
PANDA Post and Ante Natal Depression
Contact 1300 726 306 Monday to Friday 9:30am – 7:00pm.
This is a fantastic organisation which provides women, husbands, families, friends etc with support with post and ante natal depression. What is important to remember about this organisation is that it is a peer support service where there are women and men who provide telephone support. These individuals have been chosen because they are mums and dads and who have been touched in some way with post/ante natal depression.
Another aspect of this organisation which is wonderful is that they do follow up calls. If a person rings the service for help, if the individual allows, PANDA can follow up the calls to make sure the individual has linked into the proper areas of their community.
PANDA is about to go national so anyone within Australia can call.
On their website, you will find an abundance of information especially in the fact sheets. The website is constantly growing. I really encourage if you are struggling with ante/post natal depression to give this organisation a call.
Taking the first step and saying I need help is the hardest.

I went to a meeting at PANDA about crying and settling of infants and they suggested a wonderful site for parents to have a look at.
