Natural Stress ——– Excessive Stress ———— Depression

   I went and saw my wonderful psychologist the other day and of course he wanted to know naturally what has been happening in the two months since our last meet up.  So of course I did my massive list of crap that has been going on.

What I like about my psychologist he doesn’t let me play the victim or the poor me saga too long.  He of course picked up the main points is that I was coping no matter how hard it got.

But one thing we did discuss is the difference of natural stress, excessive stress and depression.  Plus he talked about the importance of how to keep well and stay in the natural stress area.  Although he explained it in much nicer terms that I did that life is full of ups and downs………………….lucky I didn’t say life is a bitch and then you die.

Like always he is definitely right and I have had a day working through it will the hectic day that I have had.  My mood and tolerance has been at a level 1 to 2 area with massive neck pain which is causing massive headaches and I’m clenching my jaw just so tight so I really had to work hard on keeping level headed with the girls.  Grace was up at 6am and all she did from 6am is making sooky noises beside me whilst I tried to keep Em asleep after a rough night………………..mind you she was unaware of the limited sleep that I had as well.   Plus I had to really keep my cool with the girls so I didn’t yell at them and spoke calmly with them.  It was harm and I only yelled at them a couple of times when they were screeching around the house.

But one important aspect that I really need to work on is how to keep things at a natural stress level.  I am the type of person who leaves things for another day if it is too hard to face.

Hmmmmmm does this actually help?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Nope it only makes things worse.  So I am going to try and face every day what I am putting aside and actually do it and see if it keeps my stress levels at a normal level.
