I have decided to add a bit more challenge to myself and my journey to a healthier me in 2011. I have given myself the goal to get rid of another 10kg by July 1 2011. This means that I have 175 days until I weigh myself. I will keep on with my measurements but will weigh myself on this day to see if I am any closer.
Today I have managed to keep to my food plan. In my head I keep thinking about how I will feel when I loose hopefully the last 20kgs. I am looking forward to being healthier and more active. I dont believe that I will be “happier” because we go through numerous feelings each day which we need to move through.
Today for exercise I did the Zumba Tone and Sculpt Video. I dont use the weights they provide. I am using 1kg weights. To keep myself progressing I will do three sessions of the 1kg weights and then move up to the next weight. This is to keep challenging myself as well as to get stronger. Today I felt uncoordinated and puffed out and although I wanted to stop I kept going to the end.
Other incidental exercise was that I walked the dog with my family as well as helped out in the garden. But who can also forget all the chores in the house.
In yesterday’s writting I mentioned that we should only watch 10 hours of TV a week. So I am setting myself the challenge of:
